Pro-Rig provides specialised industrial rigging, heavy-lifting and machinery-moving solutions. Our focus is simple: deliver safe, reliable and efficient lifting services for clients who need equipment moved, installed, maintained or load-tested — without delays, surprises or complications.
We work across a wide range of industrial environments, assisting with everything from individual machinery lifts to full shutdown rigging requirements. Our team handles the planning, the lifting and the onsite execution, ensuring every project is carried out with care and attention to detail.
Rigging & HEAVY Lifts

Rigging Projects & Shutdowns

Load Testing of Lifting Machines & Tackle
We offer professional load testing for lifting machines, hoists, cranes and lifting tackle. All testing is performed using the correct procedures and industry-appropriate standards.
Inspection & Repairs
We inspect lifting equipment and rigging tackle to ensure compliance and safe operation. Where possible, we assist with repairs and replacements to keep your lifting gear operational and reliable.
Sales & Supply of Lifting Equipment
We supply lifting tackle, accessories and equipment for industrial use. From replacement components to full rigging solutions, we help you source the right gear for your application.
Lifeline & Fall Protection Systems
We design, supply, install, inspect, and certify horizontal and vertical lifeline systems for safe work at height. Systems are engineered as fall restraint or fall arrest, depending on the application, roof structure, and user requirements.
All lifeline systems are designed and installed in accordance with OHSA and applicable SANS standards, including SANS 50795 (anchor devices and lifelines) and relevant personal fall protection standards such as SANS 50361 (EN 361), SANS 50354 (EN 354), SANS 50355 (EN 355 – energy absorbers), and SANS 50362 (EN 362).
Where required, energy absorbers are incorporated to limit arrest forces to ≤ 6 kN and to control anchor loads and system deflection. Installations include load testing, system labeling, user limits, and full certification with inspection reports and handover documentation.
OUR Accreditations
We are approved in terms of THE DRIVEN MACHINERY REGULATIONS 18(5) OF HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT 1993 for examination and performance testing of Lifting Machines.
Load Testing and Certification are done in accordance with SABS 016-1980 as per REGULATION 10 OF HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT 1993.
